“I Did It” On November 29, 1988 the body of Viola Manville was found near them same railroad tracks where she walks to go home, her face pummeled, clothes torn off and BB gun pellets shot into her head. Glen Sterling admitted to the murder but wasn’t really the murderer he admitted to it because he didn’t want his brother to be Frank Sterling to get convicted for what he done to Viola.

Loving Them to Death (Journal 7)

by   Posted on April 18, 2012 in Uncategorized

“Loving Them To Them” This article caught my attention because its about teens getting put into boot camps but in the past 5 years there been deaths for many reasons from beatings, starvation, and emotional abuse and the therapy ain’t helping either. Some young teens deserve some kind of punishment but no one deserves to die at a young age especially in boot camp.

He sexually abused her for years, in 2009 she was sentenced for second degree manslaughter and was sentenced for 5 to 15 years and this week she will have a parole hearing and i think she should be released with a little punishment like probation or house arrest because she was basically defending herself.

” Prison Without Walls “ This Article is about prisoners instead of incarcerating them in jail cells with bars have them do manual labor with GPS trackers, i don’t believe such thing will happen because some cases are more harsh then other but with technology they have now i don’t doubt it but i don’t agree with this thought at all.

My Memoir (Rough Draft)

by   Posted on February 28, 2012 in Uncategorized

My Theme is About Crime & Justice I chose this topic because it has to do with what I want to major in college.  My Aunt was a probation officer in Providence, When i lived out there she took me to her office to help her out with a few things and to see how she worked. That’s when I caught interest in being a probation officer myself i was finishing my 10th grade year.

I remember the day i went to my aunts office like it was yesterday, her office wasn’t small but yet to to big either. I would watch how she talked with the adults &  juveniles, and made sure they stayed on top of there community service hours, Most of her parole’s where young aged she would try and encourage them to stay out of trouble and would visit there homes to see how they doing even after there probation is over to make sure there in school, working and staying out of trouble. I took all the experience i can that day so i can take it with me throughout college and hopefully help me be ahead of my class and know a little more then the rest. My aunt was highly respected in the environment she worked  and by thier offenders she supervised, the tips she gave me was to always be organized when working in a office and properly dressed and on time to work at all times. It’s good to get along with them get to know them more but to make sure they get done what needs to be done so they won’t end up back in jail, but some can’t get away from the violence or trouble and end up back in jail. I feel like i can help young people stay out of trouble because growing up in Providence is hard to stay out of trouble so i can relate to them.

My hometown was a wonderful (or choose your own adjective) place to grow up.

Friendly people, beaches everywhere & nice weather Dominican Republic.

Laci had a rather eccentric style.

Kanye West has an eccentric style tight clothes all tailored.

Mr. Brown is the worst teacher I’ve ever had

just gives us an assignment with no explanation to it.

The room seemed very institutional.

the class had a strict teacher & there where no cell phones felt very institutional.
